The ground is composed mostly of {{icn|Sand Floor|Sand Floors}} and patches of {{icn|Shale}} with {{icn|Ore Titanium|Titanium Ore}}. Large veins of {{icn|Ore Copper|Copper Ore}}, {{icn|Ore Lead|Lead Ore}}, and {{icn|Ore Coal|Coal Ore}} can all be found on this sector. There are two {{Team|Derelict}} ruins on two of the larger islands. The one in the south has an {{icn|Oil Extractor}}, {{icn|Plastanium Compressor}}, and {{icn|Liquid Tank}}. The one in the north has five empty {{icn|Container|Containers}}. All of them also have both normal and large {{icn|Scrap Wall|Scrap Walls}}, {{icn|Titanium Conveyor|Titanium Conveyors}}, and an abundance of {{icn|Scrap Ore}}. The {{Team|Sharded}} Core lands in either the southwest or southeast, on one of the larger islands near a vein of Copper Ore. The {{Team|Crux}} drop zone is in the north. They will send {{icn|Flare|Flares}}, {{icn|Horizon|Horizons}}, {{icn|Zenith|Zeniths}}, {{icn|Risso|Rissos}} and {{icn|Minke|Minkes}} in an attempt to defeat the {{Team|Sharded}}. Players have around 2 minutes between each wave. The last wave contains two [[guardian]] {{icn|Bryde|Brydes}}. === Tips/Strategy === * As usual, set up drills to mine the basic resources: {{icn|Copper}} and {{icn|Lead}}. Don't forget to boost any drills using {{icn|Water}} if they can't keep up with your construction. After setting up {{icn|Graphite Press|Graphite Presses}} for {{icn|Graphite}}, {{icn|Silicon Smelter|Silicon Smelters}} for {{icn|Silicon}}, and {{icn|Kiln|Kilns}} for {{icn|Metaglass}} if necessary, start mining {{icn|Titanium}}. * For {{icn|Power}} generation, using the {{icn|Steam Generator}} should be sufficient given the abundance of {{icn|Coal}} and Water. Optionally, you can also use {{icn|Differential Generator|Differential Generators}} but they require extensive setup. {{icn|Combustion Generator|Combustion Generators}} should not be used unless the player is starting without any imported resources. * For defending against air units, place as many {{icn|Scatter|Scatters}} supplied with any available ammunition near your [[power producers]], [[crafters]], and {{icn|Battery|Batteries}} as you can. The enemy {{icn|Flare|Flares}}, {{icn|Horizon|Horizons}}, and {{icn|Zenith|Zeniths}}, respectively, will target them over other blocks. * The naval units in this sector appear earlier than on {{icn|Ruinous Shores}}, so you need to act fast as naval units are typically stronger than ground or air units of the same tier. They will typically take the shortest, least defended path towards your core so make sure all water passages are lined with turrets and [[walls]] (you can't block off most of the water passages due to {{icn|Deep Water}}. Good turrets to use include {{icn|Duo|Duos}} or {{icn|Salvo|Salvos}} with any ammo other than {{icn|Copper}} (preferably Silicon to prevent them from missing), {{icn|Arc|Arcs}}, {{icn|Lancer|Lancers}}, as well as {{icn|Ripple|Ripples}} and {{icn|Hail|Hails}} with Silicon ammo. * {{icn|Minke}} units may become problematic on this sector as their artillery shells can go past walls and turrets, destroying fragile blocks like {{icn|Power Node|Power Nodes}} and [[item transporters]] that may be crucial for your defense. Make sure to monitor all the waves, especially the later ones when multiple Minkes start appearing, and rebuild anything that gets destroyed.<br>Remember that if a fire is started, a {{icn|Wave}} supplied with Water or {{icn|Cryofluid}} will put it out. * Placing down a few extra high-damaging turrets should be able to easily take down the {{icn|Bryde}} [[guardian]] on the final wave. * After capturing this sector, research the {{icn|Plastanium Compressor}} and start producing {{icn|Plastanium}}. For the {{icn|Oil}} input, one {{icn|Spore Press}} supplied by five {{icn|Cultivator|Cultivators}} should provide more than enough Oil to operate one Plastanium Compressor.
